Advanced
Transmissions: This two day program
focuses on the manual and automatic
transmissions that are representative of the
applications found on fleet vehicles. While the
function and operation of these units is
thoroughly covered, the emphasis is placed on
diagnosing malfunctions and failures.
Aerial Equipment Safety Maintenance:
This course is a minimum of 24 hours with a
maximum of 8 attendees. Maintenance personnel
with limited or no hydraulics background are not
to be included in this class.
Air
Bag Systems:
This course is designed for anyone servicing
vehicles with air bags including supervisors,
mechanics, and collision repair technicians.
Ford
Fuel Injection, Diagnostics, and ABS Brakes:
This program is designed strictly as a three-day
course for the Ford automobiles. We can also do
a similar class on GM and Chrysler products
Lubrication
Mobile Equipment:
The purpose of this program is to provide
personnel with the understanding of lubricants
and systems.
Marine
Hydraulics: This course is designed to
enhance the technical expertise of maintenance
personnel, technicians, operators and others
that are associated with equipment maintenance.
Mobile
Equipment and Aerial Device Hydraulics:
Flow/pressure relationship and theory, fluids,
contamination/filtration, pumps, flow control
and check valves, pressure control and
directional valves, hydrostatic drives.
Schematics and troubleshooting, symbols and
circuit identification. 24-40 hours.
Scan Tool
Diagnosis for Electronically Controlled
Automatic Transmissions: Basics and
terminology. How computers communicate.
Troubleshooting a “down” system, diagnosis.
Pathfinder/troubleshooter use for Ford, General
Motors, and Chrysler applications. 8 hours.
Welding and
Metallurgy: Customized to needs,
existing skills. Can include Level C, B, A
Classification – Oxy-Fuel cutting, gas and braze
welding, blueprint reading, math, material
handling, codes, standards and specs. Welding
Metallurgy 1, 2, 3. Carbon arc gouging, QC and
inspection. Various materials, fusion. Client
specific instruction.
Servo &
Proportional Valves: Servo and
proportional valves are complex both in design
and function. Without an understanding of these
valves, troubleshooting can be an expensive and
time consuming fact of life. |
