Mobile Air Conditioning and
Refrigeration: A/C purposes and types, definitions and
theory. Refrigerants, refrigerant oils. A/C components- function,
maintenance, problems diagnosis, testing tools, maintenance, and
repair. 16 hours.
Automotive Natural Gas/Propane:
Gas and gasoline properties, safety, tanks, valves, lines,
vaporizers, timing, carburetion, various systems and installation,
single/dual systems, problem diagnosis, troubleshooting. 16-40 hrs.
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG):
This program can cover any
or all of the following: Inspections, Installations, Troubleshooting
and Repair of tanks, and systems. It will also include explanations,
demonstrations of procedures, and techniques which will enable
program participants to work with natural gas. (CNG)
CSA International Certified CNG
Cylinder Inspection Program : This programs is designed to
train attendees to become certified CNG inspectors of high pressure
CNG cylinders. It covers cylinder identification, Installation,
general and detailed visual inspections, proper venting ( de-fueling
) , disposal and documentation. This program will raise the
reliability of the industry and confidence in the safe handling and
maintenance of high pressure natural gas storage systems.
Portable Message Sign
Maintenance This course is designed for personnel
servicing and maintaining mobile message boards for highway use.
Discussion of various models in use, comparing the similarities and
differences found between the models. Specifications are discussed
in detail and the issues identified are worked on in the shop.
Troubleshooting of all on-board systems. All safety practices and
procedures are discussed in depth.
Tire Service / Repair &
OSHA Tire Standards : the purpose of this program
is to insure all employees required to service and maintain
tires receive standardized training prior to attempting to
service or repair any tire. Due to the various types of wheels
and tires in the industry, this program will address those types
of commercial and non-commercial tires and wheels regulated
under federal guidelines.
Power Trains: Clutches,
mechanical transmissions, drivelines, rear axles, torque converters,
automatic transmissions. For the preceding “systems”- an in-depth
look at their function, components, maintenance.
Troubleshooting Drive Trains:
This three-day program focuses on truck drive train systems from the
engine to the driving wheels. The emphasis is on the operation and
diagnostics of clutches, manual transmissions, automatic
transmissions, drive shafts, differentials, and axles.
Hydrostatic Drives:
Covers all types of drives, system operation and components, pump
and motor volume control. Troubleshooting techniques, operating
principles and maintenance procedures. 8-16 hours.
Heavy Equipment Operations:
Designed to enhance the skills of heavy equipment operators. Covers
operation, safety, maintenance, preventive maintenance,
transporting, excavation safety, crime prevention. 16-40 hrs.
Ford Drive Ability: This
program is designed to enhance the diagnostic and troubleshooting
skills of technicians, operators, and maintenance personnel who may
be involved in solving drive ability problems with gasoline engines
in general but Ford products specifically.
